Hi! We are Tyler + Maggie Wendt, founders of Whole Family Health, our passion business that we work on late in the night while our babies dream. We have been married for over 10 years, have three children, and are passionate about all things holistic health.

Tyler is a practicing pharmacist locally here in Wisconsin. He completed nine years starting at the University of Madison getting his bachelor's degree in microbiology. He then went on to the University of Concordia and graduated with his doctorates of pharmacy and became a licensed pharmacist. When he isn’t working, Tyler loves to compete in leagues of all sorts, golf, horseshoes, and basketball to name a few! He’s a raving Packers fan and loves to sit after a long day and catch up on sports. Tyler also loves to hike, work out, play with his kiddos and spend time with his family.

 

I (Maggie) went to school and got a bachelor's degree in the field of education. I was a first grade teacher before having our first child and deciding I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him. I’ve been a stay at home momma since and I love every second of it! When I’m not talking about health + wellness, I’m often sharing glimpses into our family life and the sheer joy and fulfillment I feel raising these three children. I love to cook from scratch, take long baths, read about 7 different books at a time (drives Tyler crazy!) and connect with families all over the world. 

 

We started this journey of holistic living over 11 years ago when we set out to simply lose weight. We were newlyweds, both in college, and eating out all the time. We’d sit down to binge netflix and plow through a whole box of cheez-its in one sitting and proudly! We were overweight, had low energy, struggled with anxiety + depression, and overall knew that it was time to make our health a priority — especially before becoming parents! So we took one baby step at a time. We focused on eating out *one* less night a week … and then two. We swapped out our pizza nights and started cooking together. Over the course of 7 years we’ve completely transformed our life and are different people. Each year we learn more and more about ourselves and true wellness. 

 

We hope when you follow along in our journey you feel empowered to prioritize your family’s wellness but not in a scary “overhaul your life and stick to a strict diet” type of way. But in a way where you feel encouraged to take one baby step at a time. Where you know that tiny steps add up to big changes over time and that there is a way to journey to more holistic living in a simple and realistic way!
